Breed Bio was founded in 2024 by CEO Bart Verstrynge, CCO Thomas Beuls, and investor Wouter Uten. The Hasselt-based software company analyzes millions of data points in the agricultural sector, specifically for the genetic selection of plants. Whereas seeds used to have to be grown first to test their characteristics, Breed Bio can now predict these based on data models and millions of measurements.
