With various workstations — from flex desks to larger offices — experimental rooms and labs for various applications, this is a place for everyone. You can also enjoy a flexible system for our meeting and event rooms.

Community

At BioVille, you can find all the actors in the health and care sector in one place. This offers a lot of possibilities: from networking and contacts in the corridors or at the coffee corner to inspiring and connecting events and seminars.

Our all-inclusive service enables you, as a BioViller, to focus on your core business and goals. We offer you a wide range of support services, both technically and administratively. You do your thing; we will do the rest.

Facilities

Fully equipped workplaces, meeting rooms, laboratories… Free cleaning service, cafeteria, kitchen, showers, telephone permanence, free internet, support for start-up and growth… All of that just to make sure that you can do your job in an inspiring environment and without worrying.

Location

Close to the university campus in Diepenbeek, several hospitals and Hasselt, the capital of Limburg. BioVille is easily accessible by public transport and is located close to the E313. We are at the heart of the Euregion, which is an international bonus. The airports of Maastricht, Charleroi, Zaventem, Eindhoven and Düsseldorf are also within easy reach.

History

BioVille opened its doors in 2010 as a breeding ground for start-ups and growing companies active in life sciences. The goal was to assist starting and growing health & care companies by offering them flexible spaces and customized support services. In addition, BioVille was part of the Limburg ambition to make life sciences one of the key sectors in the region.

When BioVille was fully completed in 2012, it was decided to expand with a new building of at least 1,500 m². In 2020, the DigiHub was also built, focusing on companies active in digital health. The third phase of BioVille was completed in 2023, with a focus on scale-ups with casco finished floors.

Currently, more than 30 companies and more than 120 colleagues are based at BioVille. The focus is mainly on health & care, biotech, medtech and digital health.
