What started ten years ago as an ambitious initiative to strengthen Limburg’s startup landscape has evolved into one of Flanders’ strongest ecosystems for start-ups and scale-ups. Through incubators such as BioVille, Corda INCubator, Greenville and IncubaThor, combined with coaching, community support and funding opportunities, Limburg Startup (LSU) has helped shape a thriving culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
Today, Hasselt is recognised as one of Belgium’s leading startup cities, while the Limburg approach is increasingly seen as a model for innovation ecosystems across Flanders. BioVille is proud to be part of this story as an incubator supporting innovative companies in biotech, medtech and digital health.
