I AM A VISITOR

During the works on Campus Diepenbeek, the access roads and routes to BioVille may temporarily change. To help you reach BioVille safely and easily, you will find the current route for each mode of transport below. Select how you are travelling to BioVille and follow the relevant instructions for cars and motorcycles, cyclists and pedestrians, or bus passengers.

From 21 September 2026, visitors must park in the new parking tower on campus.

This information will be updated whenever the traffic situation changes.

      1. Are you travelling by car/motorcycle/moped?

Enter the campus via Universiteitslaan or Ginderoverstraat and follow the signs to the new parking tower. Visitors must park their vehicle in the parking tower.

After parking, follow the walking path from the parking tower to the BioVille entrance. As the BioVille entrance is not visible from the parking tower, please consult the route map below and follow the indicated route.

     2. Are you travelling on foot or by bicycle?

The cycle path running parallel to Universiteitslaan has reopened. Cyclists and pedestrians travelling from Genk can use this route to reach the campus directly.

Are you travelling from Diepenbeek? Depending on your point of departure, you can reach the campus via Mizerikstraat, Ginderoverstraat or Nesselaerstraat. Please consult the route map and follow the indicated cycling and walking routes to avoid the Fluvius construction zone.

From Hasselt, you can use the new cycling and walking paths towards the campus.

Cross at the designated crossing point near BIOMED (Building C). Bicycle parking is available at the BioVille entrance.

     3. Are you travelling by public transport?

Bus passengers travelling from either Genk or Hasselt should get off at the new bus station on Campus Diepenbeek. From there, walk towards BioVille and cross at the designated crossing point near BIOMED (Building C).
